Just a little more patience (‘Nog een bekke patience...’)

A tasty beer requires love, craftmanship …and patience. That most certainly is true for Old Gueuze and Kriek. The first batch of lambic has been brewed and is ageing in oak casks, but getting a taste of the new Eylenbosch Gueuze will have to wait until the summer of 2021.

In the meantime, Eylenbosch must of course not be a brewery without beer, and so here’s a treat for you: our first new beer, appropriately named ‘Patience for Eylenbosch’, a 5.5 % ‘Saison’, which is a typical Walloon beer that used to be drunk by seasonal workers in the field, a bit like Lambic. In this way, the beer perfectly matches the authentic narrative that Eylenbosch wants to bring to beer lovers. But until that moment …a little bit of patience.
